Markets as expected remained choppy while held on to 15600 yesterday. We expect today to be another day to erode premiums with Critical resistance placed at 15940 & support at 15356. Remain low profile over weekend. US to send Coivid-19 vaccines to other countries as early as Thursday.

04062021 Pre-Market-Update: – Nifty moves, Stocks to Trade, FnO Action, Share Market Tips & Much More.

Nifty Watch for the day: Markets as expected remained choppy while held on to 15600 yesterday. We expect today to be another day to erode premiums with Critical resistance placed at 15940 & support at 15356. Remain low profile over weekend. US to send Coivid-19 vaccines to other countries as early as Thursday.

  • Markets are always `Supreme`, VIX went lower to hit the lowest point for the month at 14.15 from a high of 17.21 and managed to close at 15.75.  Markets opened higher above 15600 and remained flat for the 1st half and then came down below previous high 15660 to test 15611 then recovered for the day and made high till 15705.1 during last hour trades and closing higher at 15690.35Yesterday Nifty Spot 15690.35 while Future 15715 (27.65)
  • BankNifty today opened above 35536 and was dragged down till 35413 but held on to previous day close of 35373 and remained flattish during the day within 35500 – 35600 during most part of the session and during last hour broke the 35700 barrier to hit a high of 35723 before closing at 35649. BandhanBank, AxisBank, KotakBank and HDFCBank were pushing over 1% while IndusInd, RBLBank was on dragging over 1%. Yesterday BankNifty Spot closed at 35649 while Future 35775 (128 points)
  • Yesterday 70 stocks out of Nifty Top 100 stocks closed in Green and kept the markets in higher at close. Though Volumes were lower on Nifty and BankNifty Yesterday, while FIIs were net buyers in Cash while bought in Options & Future, DIIs were selling in Cash.
  • Major upside contributions came from HDFCBank, LT, Titan KotakBank and Infy while the top gainers were Titan, Ongc, Eicher, LT and AxisBank with around 1.8% gains.
  • Top draggers were IndusInd, Wipro, HCLTech, M&M and DrReddy while top losers were IndusInd, Wipro, Cipla, DrReddy and PowerGrid with over 0.5% losses.

  • For 04-06-2021: Nifty to trade in the broader range of 15356 – 15940 with Nifty key Resistance seen at 15730, 15791, 15844, 15896 & 15984. Support Seen at 15606, 15545, 15494, 15442 & 15305.
  • For 04-06-2021: BankNifty to trade in the broader range of 34985 – 36212 with BankNifty Resistances at 35734, 35873, 35990, 36112, & 36431. Supports at 35594, 35495, 35317, 35201 & 34772.

  • VIX moved down by 8.48% to close at 15.75 while USD-₹ closed lower by 0.3% at 73.3750
  • Among Indices SmallCap and Mid-Cap led the markets while all other indices managed to close in Green. Among Sectoral Indices Realty led the rally followed by Media with over 1.5% gains while Realty lost over 1% and Pharma, Auto closed in Red.
    • 174 Stocks hit fresh 52 week high yesterday including AdaniEnt, AdaniTrans, Alkem, AmbujaCem, ApolloHosp, BajFinance, JublFood, Marico, MuthootFin, Ongc, SBI, Siemens, Titan, UPL. while 2 stocks hit 52 week Low.
  • From Nifty500 we had 341 gainers with 27 gaining over 3% while 159 losers with 3 losing over 3%
    • Top Gainer was Spandana with 20% gains followed by PNBHsg, OberaiRlty, Suzlon, FluorChem, Creditacc, Voltas, JKPaper, Muthootfin, Phoenixltd, MaxHealth, Titan, MindaCorp, HEG, MahindCie, Idea, Thermax, IBRealEst, Huhtamaki, AshaiIndia, ISec, FConsumer, Prestige, ShilpaMed, IndiaCem, PrsmJohnsn, CSFC, AngelBrkg, FRetail closing with gains over 5%
    • Top Loser was Mothersumi with 6.8% Losses followed by NH & TCIExp with over 3% losses
  • 2042 stocks traded Yesterday with 1354 advances, 625 declines & 63 unchanged.
  • BurgerKing saw 21x volumes spike while Ratnamani, AshahiInd, Crisil, Aartind, Nilkamal, Muthootfin, Voltas, OberoiRltym ShilpaMed & Prestige, saw over 5x spike.
  • Long Buildup seen in ONGC, JublFood, Titan, Mphasis, Escorts, TataChem, Havells, while Short Buildup seen in Berger, NavinFluor, Nam-India, MotherSumi.
  • BoB, PNB, Sail & SunTV are in FnO Ban List
  • PCR moved down to 1.35 & Max pain in June series moved to 15500 from 15200. 24th June 16000CE & 16200CE saw OI spike while 15200PE & 15000PE saw highest change in OI.

Key Triggers:

  • Nifty Open – 15655.55, High- 15705.1, Low- 15611.0 & Close- 15690.35. Nifty had closed around 552 points higher than 20dma of 15138 & BankNifty though looked little stronger during the day’s trade had ended around 1559 points higher20DMA of 34089.
  • US closed lower led by Nasdaq & European markets closed mixed on Thursday while Asia has opened Mixed. As of 08:00 am Key Indices Futures are trading at:- Dow -> Up at 34550 while Nikkei225 down at 28900 & Hang-Seng trading up at 28850.
